Biographical note: Merchants; Henry Menager founded the H. Menager Store located on the corner of Mesilla and Meyer Streets. His son, Joseph, was born in Arizona in 1887, and worked in the dry goods business in addition to mining, land and cattle interests. He built Menagers Dam which is represented by documents in this collection. Joseph's sister, Lucy Menager, married Leandro Ruiz of Guaymas, Mexico and she was involved in the Menager family business.
