Gibson, Thomas H.
In 1898 Thomas H. Gibson, mother Sarah Ellen Gibson, and brother Elmer arrived in Dawson, Yukon Territory, to join father Joseph Gibson, a gold miner. When Sarah Gibson moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1903, her two sons followed. Thomas subsequently founded the Gibson Auto Stage Line, which provided transportation between Fairbanks and Valdez, Alaska.
