Knights and Ladies of Security. Topeka, Kan.
Headquartered in Topeka, the Knights and Ladies of Security, later called the Security Benefit Association, was organized as a mutual benefit-fraternal organization. Social functions and life insurance protection were the primary concerns of the organization. Intemperance, the use of narcotics, or conviction of a felony could result in the cancellation of the benefits of the Order and expulsion from beneficiary membership.
