Lee, Ernest Eugene, 1876-1962.

In 1906, Lee was elected state BYPU secretary of Texas. He worked in collaboration with Corresponding Secretary J. B. Gambrell to organize 200 new unions. Two years later, Lee was elected as the first Southwide Baptist Young People's Union field secretary for the Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, serving until his retirement in 1946.
