George Pratt (1903-1979) was born in Kansas City, Mo., where, after graduating from Yale and Yale Law School in 1927, he practiced law. He later worked for the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C., the Office of Strategic Services in London, and the Bureau of Reclamation. In 1954 he joined the Kuljian Engineering Firm, and on his retirement moved to Southport, Conn., with his wife, Elizabeth (Lambertson) Pratt. He was active in local activities and from 1971 to 1975 was president of the Fairfield Historical Society.
