Wood, Samuel Newitt, 1825-1891
Wood was a member of the Kansas territorial legislatures of 1860 and 1861, and was a member of the state senate in 1861 and 1867. He was a member of the house of representatives in 1664, 1866, 1876 and 1877. He was killed June 23, 1891, by Jim Brennan. Items 4-7 below refer to his murder.
