Australian Poetry Lovers' Society.
Founded in 1934 by Ethyl Fielding (ca. 1884-1962) and her husband George Fielding (1879-1950) the Australian Poetry Lovers' Society was formed to foster interest in poetry and to work for the publication of work by Australian poets. Following a decline in membership and activity during the late 1960's, the Society made arrangements to merge with the Henry Lawson Memorial and Literary Society in 1974.
