Hillyer family.
Shaler Hillyer (1776-1820) married Rebbeca Freeman, lived in Wilkes County, Georgia. Children: John Freeman, Junius, and Shaler Granby. After Shaler's death, the family moved to Athens, Georgia to facilitate the boys' formal education. Junius Hillyer (1807-1886), lawyer, judge, politician, married Jane Selina Watkins Foster, October 6, 1831.
