Steinhardt, Jacob, 1887-1968
Variant namesSteinhardt was born in Germany and studied art in Berlin and Paris. In 1914 he exhibited in the first Expressionist exhibition in Berlin. He immigrated to Israel in 1933. He is mostly known for his narrative woodcuts depicting biblical subjects.
