Heinrich, Carl J., 1889-1979
Carl J. Heinrich was born on 23 December 1889 in Southington, Connecticut. He attended schools both in Connecticut and Wisconsin. Heinrich married Ruth Hurd in Chicago on 4 September 1913. They had four children, George, John, Ruth, and Carleen. The Heinrich family moved to Roundup, Montana, where they operated the Heinrich Furniture Company from 1924 to 1931. In 1931, the family moved again to Missoula, Montana, where Heinrich operated the Heinrich Floral Company and Heinrich Jewelry Company until his retirement in 1955. Ruth and Carl Heinrich were also stockholders in the Standard Furniture, Inc. They both remained involved in the management of Standard Furniture, Inc., until its bankruptcy and dissolution in 1956. Heinrich was very active in the Navy League in Montana and nationally. He served as the Montana State Vice President of the Navy League in 1942. He was also an active member of the Western Shrine Club where he served as President, and belonged to the National Advisory Council of the American Retail Jewelers Association, BPOE Hellgate Lodge No. 383, the Rotary Club, the Oddfellows Covenant Lodge No. 6, and the Masons. Heinrich also served as a deacon in the First Presbyterian Church in Missoula. Carl J. Heinrich died on 18 January 1979 in Mesa, Arizona.

The Heinrich family moved to Roundup, Montana where they operated Heinrich Furniture Company from 1924 to 1931.
