Brooks, C. B. (Charles Ballance), 1910-1969
Variant namesCharles Ballance Brooks was born May 4, 1910, in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his commission as ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1931, and advanced through grades to rear admiral in October 1959. He served as commander of Cruiser Division Two from 1961 to 1962. Brooks died in July 1969.
