Joseph Philip Loeb (1883-1974) was a Los Angeles attorney and civic leader. In 1938, he founded the firm of Loeb and Loeb along with his brother, Edwin J. Loeb. Joseph Philip Loeb was appointed to the California State Board of Education in 1943, 1947, and 1951.
