Hinkle, George Henry, 1896-1950
Variant namesC.F. McGlashan is best known for his book on the Donner Party. McGlashan also ran a museum in Truckee about the history of the area that highlighted a large rocking stone with a tower built on top; invented a train signaling system; and was an educator. Bliss McGlashan Hinkle was the daughter (or granddaughter) of C.F. McGlashan.
