Norman L. Kreuder graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1949 and did some graduate work at UCLA. He worked at Librascope Corporation and Jet Propulsion Laboratory as an Engineer. He also worked for ElectroData Corporation as a development engineer.
After ElectroData was acquired by Burroughs in 1956, Norm Kreuder worked in the ElectroData Manufacturing and Engineering Division of Burroughs Corporation as a Project Engineer on the 2111 project and was head of the Task Force on the B5000. Kreuder was promoted from project engineer on Project 760 to Section Manager in February 1960.
