Clark Bros. Bolt Co. (Milldale, Conn.)
William J. Clark began manufacturing bolts and nuts in 1851 in Southington, Connecticut. In 1854 two of his brothers, Charles H. and Henry H. Clark, joined the firm which was named Wm. J. Clark & Co. In 1871, William retired, making his brother Henry senior partner in the newly named Clark Brothers & Co. When the business was incorporated in 1903, the name changed again to Clark Bros. Bolt Co., the name by which it was known until the company closed in 1987.
