Marr and Holman Architectural Firm (1910-1936)
The Marr and Holman Architectural Firm was established in 1910 in Nashville, Tennessee. Thomas S. Marr became deaf at the age of three and graduated from Gallaudet College in 1889. He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and returned to Tennessee to work in 1897. Marr hired Holman as a draughtsman in 1904. The firm was very active in the 1920's but broke up after the death of Marr in 1936.
