Pettit, George, fl. 1834-1841.
George Pettit was the postmaster of Fabius, Onondaga County, N. Y. His wife had children by a previous husband. Her sons were Willis Boothe and Lucius Boothe of Pittsburgh, Pa. Pettit had a daughter or step-daughter named Emmeline who married Rev. William Corbin of Logansport, Cass County, Ind.
