Born 1917, Kenosha, WI; died 1994 in Chicago, IL. Director of Public Relations, author. Alvo E. Albini was the director of Public Relations at Loyola University Chicago from 1967 to 1983. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1940 and his master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism. While working as director of Public Relations at Loyola he orgainzed p.r. for the university's centennial and its ten year $180 million capital campaign. After his retirement in 1983 he spent most of his time researching and writing on various topics including Bento de Gois; Akbar, Emperor of Hindustan; and Abraham Lincoln's administration.
