The Board of Aeons serves in an advisory and research capacity to the university administration.

Established in 1921, the Board of Aeons functions as a link between the student body and the administration, focusing on long range policies. Selections for the Aeons are made by the president from nominations submitted by faculty and administration based on outstanding student leadership and scholarship. Members remain on the Board until they complete their degree and leave campus.
