Judd, Sylvester, 1813-1853
Variant namesJudd was born in Massachusetts and graduated from Yale College in 1836 and from the Harvard Divinity School in 1840. He became a Unitarian pastor in Augusta, Maine where he served until his death in 1853. Judd was also a novelist, best known for his major work Margaret (1845).
