Claude Alvin Villee, Jr., 1917-2003, BS, 1937, Franklin and Marshall College; PhD, 1941, University of California, was Andelot Professor of Biological Chemistry at Harvard Medical School, where he helped establish the Laboratory of Human Reproduction and Reproductive Biology. Villee's research focused on hormone action and reproductive biology; he also taught biochemistry, human reproductive physiology, and biology to first year students.
