Chapman, Richard E.
Variant namesF.W. Whitehouse completed his Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate of Science at the University of Queensland. He was awarded the Government Gold Medal in Geology in 1922. He was appointed as Government Geologist, Department of Mines, until he took up a position as lecturer at the Department of Geology at the University of Queensland. He won many prizes for his work in palaeontology and artesian water investigation.
