Hunt, Nehemiah Asa, 1811-1900.

Hunt was born in Mason, New Hampshire on September 7, 1811. He studied at Oberlin College (1833-1837), graduated from Lane Theological Seminary (1841), and was ordained a Congregational minister (1846). He came to Minnesota (1863) from Illinois and settled in Sterling Township, Blue Earth County. He held pastorates at Sterling and Vernon Center (1864-1877). He later resided in Northfield, Minn. and for a time in California (late 1890s). Hunt died at Cloquet, Minn. on March 30, 1900.
