Born in Clay City, Ill. Dental education at St. Louis, and Washington Universities of St. Louis, Mo. Reopened the Dental School of American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Was President of Meharry Medical College, 1945-1950. Inaugurated formal courses in Dental Technology during his administration. Was Chief Dental Surgeon at Kirkurk Hospital, 1934-1941, Director of Dental Education-Meharry, 1942-1945, Director and Consultant, Dental Services at Oak Ridge Atomic City, 1944-45.
