Latham, Edythe.
Edythe Latham was born in Greensboro and graduated from Woman's College (now UNCG) in 1936. She married Bertram Bloch, story editor for the Twentieth Century Fox movie studio. They lived in New York City. The Sounding Brass was Latham's first novel.
