Scheinberg, Gisella, 1921-
Art dealer. Gisella Scheinberg was born in Hungary in 1921 and came to Australia as a Jewish refugee in 1948. She founded the Holdsworth Galleries in Woollahra, Sydney, in 1969, and ran it successfully for 28 years. She was closely associated with Donald Friend as a dealer and a friend, from 1969 until his death in 1989.
