Wohlwill, Immanuel
Immanuel Wohlwill (1799-1847) was an a teacher at the Israelitische Stiftungsschule in Hamburg and later became the head of the Jacobsonschule in Seesen. Together with Leopold Zunz, Eduard Gans and Moses Moser, he was a member of the Verein für Cultur und Wissenschaft der Juden. His grandson Friedrich Wohlwill (born Joaquim Friedrich Wohlwill 1881-1958) was a well-known neuro-pathologist.
