Helsby, Thomas
Thomas Helsby was residing at Port Louis Falkland Island in 1833 when Mathew Brisbane and four others were murdered. After escaping to Hog Island an inlet of Port Louis in Berkeley Sound Helsby finally left the islands in HMS Challenger in January 1834 bound for Valparaiso, Chile .
