President's Committee on Religious and Moral Welfare and Character Guidance in the Armed Forces established by Executive Order 10013, Oct. 27, 1948, to propose ways of implementing government's policy, announced in the same order, of promoting the religious, moral, and recreational welfare of armed services personnel; redesignated PCRWAF by Executive Order 10043, Mar. 10, 1949; terminated, Feb. 28, 1951, due to failure of appropriation.
