The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company of Sandwich, Massachusetts, was one of the most successful of the 19th century manufacturers of glass tableware. The company produced affordable blown, pressed, and molded glassware for everyday use as well as objects for the home. The business was incorporated in 1825 by Deming Jarves with financial assistance from a group of Boston men who served on the board of directors
