Dr. Cole was both a private practitioner and Professor of Roentgenology at Cornell University Medical College. He also authored studies, among others, on lesions of the small intestine and on Pneumoconiosis (silicosis). After the turn of the century, Dr. Cole, like many private practitioners, took to composing radiology reports with great care, creating a scenario of virtual consultations with referring clinicians, while also sending special packets that contained photographic prints of the significant elements.
