Colette Reddin was a French-Australian freelance journalist and author of the self-published monograph on Rupert Bunny. She prepared numerous radio broadcasts for Radio Australia and the ABC, and spoke on the subject of the arts and Bunny for many cultural societies and events. She had strong links with the National Gallery of Victoria, where she was a voluntary guide. "Rupert Bunny Himself: his final years in Melbourne" was written to expel the enigma surrounding the man and the artist. The author first met Bunny at the age of 21, and the Reddin family continued this friendship until Bunny's death in 1947. During his later years in Melbourne, Bunny spent time composing the music for ballets, and the author collaborated with Bunny on several - these scripts are held in the archive.
