Landau, Herman, 1911-
Herman Landau is a Louisville journalist and author. His family came from Austria-Hungary to New York City in 1897 and from New York City to Louisville around 1900. During his newspaper career he worked for the Louisville Courier-Journal and the Louisville Times. Although this collection of Landau's papers reflects his interest in journalism, it concerns primarily his long association with the Jewish community in Louisville. In the course of writing and researching about Louisville's Jewish heritage he compiled these research materials.
