Bulkeley family.

Peter Bulkeley (1583-1659) of Bedfordshire in England was a founder and the first minister of Concord, Mass. John, one of Peter's sons, was born in and returned to England, where he died in 1689. Peter, another of Peter's sons, was born in Concord in 1643, died there in 1688. Rebecca, his wife, was born in Concord in 1645 to Joseph and Sarah Wheeler; married Peter in 1667; mother to Edward, Joseph, John, and Rebecca; widowed in 1688, remarried (to Jonathan Prescott) in 1689; died in 1717. Capt. Joseph Bulkeley.

(Cont.) son of Peter and grandson of Peter the founder of Concord, was born in 1670, married Silence Jeffrey (his second wife) in 1713. Peter (b. 1721) and Charles (b. 1724) were two of the children of Capt. Joseph and Silence.
