Irving L. Barker was a metallurgist and mill superintendant for Cerro de Pasco Corporation during the twentieth century. Barker joined Cerro de Pasco in 1934 and worked primarily at the company's La Oroya Mine in Peru. He held several positions at the La Oroya Mine, serving as Assistant Superintendent of Smelting (1947-1952) and Superintendent of Smelting and Refining (1952-1957).
