Joshua Millet, born in 1803, was a Baptist minister in Maine in the 1830s and 1840s and was the author of the book "A history of the Baptists in Maine," published in 1845. He studied at the Newton Theological Institution in Newton, Mass. and was a visiting pastor at churches in Carmel, Orono, Dexter and Sangerville, Maine. He was also pastor of churches in Charleston and Cherryfield, Maine.
