Delta Alpha Delta was a women's speech society open only to women students who excelled in their performance on the Women's Debate Team, a part of Intercollegiate Debate at Penn State. The society was founded in 1932 and lapsed in 1972. The honor society held competitions and debates throughout the year, but was best known for its annual intramural discussions that invited sororities and women's dormitory members to debate on a chosen topic.
