Harvard institute for international development
Variant namesEstablished in 1974, the Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID) is a successor to the Development Advisory Service (DAS) which existed from 1962 to 1974 and was an affiliate of the Center for International Affairs. The Mason Program was established in 1957, and was designed to bring to Harvard public officials from developing countries.
