Palmer, Lawrence J.

Lawrence J. Palmer was born in 1893. Before coming to Alaska, he worked for the Forest Service. He transferred into the Biological Survey of the Fish and Wildlife Service and was sent to Alaska. Palmer's research focused on the food requirements of Alaskan game animals and included multi-year surveys of musk-oxen, deer and caribou.
