Epsilon Sigma Phi. Xi Chapter.
North Carolina's chapter of ESP (the Xi Chapter) was established in December of 1927 after Extension workers visited the first national conference of ESP that summer and petitioned for a chapter in North Carolina. Because the Cooperative Extension program in North Carolina was overseen by NC State, the state's chapter of ESP was also located at the university. The Xi Chapter remains active as of 2008.
