Gordon Goewey, Provost and Vice-President of Academic Affairs, was born in 1924 and earned a B.Mus. from Boston University, College of Music (1948), an MAT from Harvard University, Graduate School of Education (1953), and a Mus.A.D. from Boston University, School of Fine and Applied Arts (1969); taught music at the State University of New York, Geneseo from 1949 to 1969 and served as Dean for Graduate School from 1969 to 1972; came to Trenton State College as Vice President for Academic Affairs in 1972 and became Provost in 1978.
