Maysville and Big Sandy Railroad Company.
The company was incorporated in Kentucky on December 18, 1850. Consolidated with Lexington and Big Sandy Railway Company and The Covington Short Route Transfer Railway Company to form The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company of Kentucky on July 1, 1904.
In 1888 the Maysville and Big Sandy Railroad Company was operated by the Contracting and Building Company and form 1889 to 1904 by The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company of Kentucky.
