Progressive Community Club.
The Progressive Community Club was an African-American community improvement group in Indianapolis, Ind. It sponsored educational programs, established scholarship funds, and encouraged members to vote. In 1956 the club became a member of the Federation of Associated Clubs, an organization of African-American social clubs formed in 1937 to improve living and working conditions in the city.
