Edwards, Averill M. B., 1939-
Librarian employed with the National Library of Australia 1968-1999. Edwards has a long term association with ALIA and was president of the ACT Branch of the Library Association of Australia (LAA) prior to becoming president of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) in 1989. Edwards had also been active within the Uniting Church in Australia at the regional and state level, and in 2004, was the only laywoman to have been Presbytery Chairperson.
