Walter Edmund Morris, originally from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, attended Oregon Agricultural College for four academic years, from 1908-1909 through 1911-1912. He graduated in 1912 with a BS in Commerce and was a member of Delta Omega fraternity. Morris gave the senior class oration, The Senior's Benediction, at the Senior Convocation during Commencement Week in 1912. After graduation, Morris returned to Pennsylvania and worked as an attorney in Punxsutawney.
Delta Omega was established as a local fraternity at Oregon Agricultural College in 1910 and later became a chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon national fraternity.
