Lethbridge, Thomas Charles
Variant namesThomas Charles Lethbridge (1901-71) attended Trinity College, Cambridge. He was Excavator for the Cambridge Antiquarian Society, 1925-56, and was involved in excavations in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, including the pagan Saxon cemetery at Lackford (1947). Lethbridge was Honorary Keeper of the Anglo-Saxon Collections at the University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Cambridge. His interests included the history of seafaring, legend and religion, and later in life, parapsychology.
