Davis, Jack R., 1922-
Davis (b. 1922) grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and served with the 422nd Regiment of the 106th Infantry Division. He was taken prisoner by the Germans at the Battle of the Bulge and later liberated by American troops. Davis eventually settled in Madison, Wisconsin and retired from work at the Agronomy Department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986.
