1798 married Daulat Rao ruler of the Sindia state; c 1800-1827 senior partner to Daulat Rao in government, Sindia state; 1827-1833 regent of the Sindia state, Gwalior; 1833 removed from power; 1833-c 1848 exiled from Gwalior.
