Bucher, Eleanor Isett, d. 1881.
The daughter of Jacob Isett of Huntington County, Pa., Eleanor Isett Bucher was the wife of John Conrad Bucher, Congressman, jurist, and philanthropist. They had four children: John C., Susan, Eleanor, and Eliza, and lived in Harrisburg, Pa. Her husband died suddenly in October 1851, leaving her with new business and social responsibilities.
