Löwenstein, Ludwig
Variant namesAlexander Löwenstein was born in 1873. He married Paula Meier of Grevenbroich. Alex worked as an elementary school teacher and cantor, leading religious services in small communities in the area. Ludwig was born in 1903. He studied law, settling in Düsseldorf where he practiced until 1933 when his license was revoked. He then emigrated to Palestine, following by his parents.
